I’m not shy to express when I love what someone is wearing. I always think about myself on the other end of the compliment, during those times when I’ve finally slipped on and styled something I’m excited about; I secretly want someone to say, “How cute!” I also just happen to be incredibly nosy and want to know where I can buy whatever it is that’s caught my eye. That’s what led to me rolling down my window this weekend to ask a stranger about their stylish but practical-looking mules.
While at a stop sign, my boyfriend and I looked over at someone standing on the curb and then back at each other. We’d come to the same conclusion: We needed their shoes. They offered that same casual clog silhouette Birkenstock has made a staple, but were seemingly designed out of a more rubbery material we wouldn’t feel quite so precious about (we’ve both had enough shoes ruined by city streets). Plus, the saddle-like brown shade was perfect for fall. So we rolled down the window, complimented their shoes, and then inquired (that’s the key), and, TBH, were kind of shocked by their response. “They’re Crocs!”

I mean this with no disrespect to the brand, but the Dylan Clogs are the least Croc-y Crocs I’ve ever seen. They don’t have that typical chunky shape or holes that Crocs are known for, and don't come in statement colors, either; they’re subdued shoes that my boyfriend (a Croc hater) and I (a Croc obsessee) can agree on. “Most people love them and are surprised to find [out] they're Crocs,” wrote one shopper.
Crocs
The Dylan Clogs are a new Crocs style that brings the brand’s famous comfort and durability to a more timeless look — according to shoppers, it’s the brand’s “most versatile release [yet].” The slide-on shoes are available in four solid colors — a light and dark brown, black, and white — as well as two “burnished” shades designed to look like lived-in, sun-faded leather. Both styles are designed out of a quick-drying, rubbery material and feature deep heel cups for all-day comfort. And according to shoppers, they’re “super comfortable, stylish as heck, and ridiculously versatile.”
Crocs
Per one customer, the new look is “classy, elegant, and refined,” while another person deemed them “a business casual Croc.” “These are the cutest,” raved one person. Another fan wrote that they plan to “spend the fall season in these.” But they’re more than just stylish — according to shoppers, they also feel good. “They are so comfortable and… sturdy,” shared one person, while another reviewer confirmed that their support makes them perfect for work. Someone else couldn’t believe how well they stayed on. “I usually don't buy clogs without the strap because I find them hard to keep on my feet. I thought I'd take a risk with these since they are so stylish and it paid off! They feel very secure and the back doesn't snap up when I walk,” they wrote.
